Actor Simbu or STR has been acting in films from a very young age. As the son of well-known actor and director T. Rajendrar, Simbu was a promising star from the moment he first debuted. His acting skills were excellent, dancing was top-notch and he had good looks.

Soon, Simbu became a famous star with his fan clubs and his rise to stardom seemed inevitable. But, all hopes on Simbu came crashing down as he became embroiled in not one but several controversies. One by one, they took a toll on his film career.

Directors and producers feared him for his inconsistence and lack of commitment on set. Actors and actresses avoided him when he started becoming known for vanishing from shooting for days.

On top of that, he gained weight and completely changed his looks in films, much to his fans' disappointment.

Howveer, a recent picture of Simbu is going viral online and he looks way younger and seemed to have lost a lot of weight. Take a look:

His fans are rejoicing because of his transformation and hoping to see him in a film soon. He has at least two films on his plate currently and is expected to sign on more after the release of the films.
