Yash Has One Simple Message About Relationships: “Be Honest and Be Truthful”

Amid the excitement surrounding Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Yash offered a glimpse into the more personal side of his life during the film’s Bengaluru trailer launch, turning his attention to his wife, Radhika Pandit, and the importance of honesty in relationships.

While speaking about the scale and challenges of Toxic, Yash took a moment to acknowledge the person who stood by him throughout the demanding journey.

“I want to thank my wife,” he said, before adding a touch of humour: “It’s not easy to be my friend only. Okay. It’s not easy to be associated with me and anyone to be with.”

The light-hearted remark was followed by a sincere expression of gratitude for Radhika’s support as he pushed himself beyond his comfort zone for the ambitious project. Yash revealed that Toxic had been an exceptionally demanding film, both professionally and personally, requiring him to commit a significant amount of time to the production.

“This particular film was very demanding, and I have pushed myself beyond my comfort zone,” he said.

From experimenting with different looks to spending around 200 days shooting, the actor said the production required an intense level of commitment. Amid the long schedule and travel, Radhika remained a constant source of support.

“I think she has managed with a lot of difficulty. She used to travel. She’s somehow been a big support for me. Thank you so much,” Yash said.

His words offered a rare glimpse into the personal sacrifices that often remain unseen behind a major film production. While audiences experience the excitement surrounding a trailer and eventual theatrical release, the journey can involve months of demanding schedules, travel, long working hours and personal sacrifices for the actors and their families.

For Yash, Toxic represented an opportunity to challenge himself creatively and step beyond what was familiar. The actor said he wanted to create something meaningful and approach the project with the right intentions, even if it meant pushing himself outside his comfort zone.

His acknowledgement of Radhika also reflected a broader theme in his speech, that ambitious projects are rarely achieved through individual effort alone. He also shared a simple philosophy that he said guides him in both his personal and professional life.

“Whatever we do in life, be honest and be truthful, whether it is relationship or whether it is work. Rest, God will bless me,” he said.
