Well-known rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh's wife Shalini Talwar has made domestic violence allegations and reportedly filed a court case against him.

She claimed that Honey Singh was 'extremely arrogant, abusive, harsh and uncaring' towards her since their marriage in 2011. Shalini also alleged that he abused her physically, mentally, and emotionally while getting involved in extramarital affairs.

According to her, Honey Singh was in an affair with a Punjabi actress and promised to leave the actress once Shalini figured it out. She also claimed that Honey Singh was addicted to alcohol and drugs.

The singer was issued a notice from the court that has allowed him time until August 28 to respond. Shalini sought Rs 20 crore as compensation and a monthly payout of Rs 5 lakh for a fully furnished house in Dehli.

Honey Singh has yet to comment on the matter.
