Udhaya Keerthika, a Government school student in Theni, has a lot to be thankful for. An aspiring astronaut, her goal is to join ISRO as an astronaut in 2022.

Her hard worked ensured that she completed her studies in aircraft maintenance engineering in Ukraine; and recently, she managed to bag a seat at the Analog Astronaut training centre in Poland. However, coming from a poor background, she had difficulties paying the fees.

Upon hearing about her situation, Vijay Sethupathi invited Keerthika to his office in Chennai and asked his team to handover Rs 8 lakhs (RM 48,000) to her. As Vijay Sethupathi was not in the city, he couldn't personally meet Keerthika but the actor spoke to her over the phone.

This was a very kind gesture from the actor especially since his latest film, "Sindhubaadh", still has not been released due to a legal battle between its producer SN Rajarajan of K Productions and Hyderabad's Arka Media.

SN Rajarajan was responsible for distributing "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Media, in Tamil Nadu.

The film turned out to be a hit, but unfortunately, Rajarajan could not settle the final payments with Arka Media. This lead to Arka Media obtaining a court order from Telangana High Court to block "Sindhubaadh" from being released.

The fans were upset when the film was not released on 21 June. Nearly 500 screens across Tamil Nadu were bought to screen the film and fans were waiting till late Friday afternoon last week but they were left disappointed when they finally realised that they were not going to watch it that day.

Let's hope that the issues will be sorted out quickly for this kind actor. He deserves it!
