In the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup AM Class Constructors Championship, actor and racing enthusiast Ajith Kumar and Team Ajith Kumar Racing, in collaboration with Red Ant Racing, placed third at the Creventic 24H Series event at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain.

Ajith shared the personal costs of pursuing motorsport with his film profession during his remarks during the race weekend. He said that he frequently avoids his loved ones because of his obsession. Shalini is largely responsible for household duties. She looks after everything when I'm away, including the house and the kids. I don't see the kids very much, and I feel the same lack of presence that they do. These are the unseen sacrifices, but when you genuinely care about something, you have to make concessions along the way," he said.

Ajith also thought back on Shalini's steadfast assistance. She has supported him from his early racing days and gave up performing after getting married. Ajith stressed that he would never force his kids to follow in his footsteps in racing or filmmaking, even if their son Aadvik has lately expressed interest in go-karting. "They ought to pursue their own interests. "My job is to help them, no matter what they decide," he continued.

The actor-racer also thanked the supporters who have helped him win races in places like Dubai, the United Arab Emirates; Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium; and the Nürburgring, Germany. He revealed that some prospective racing series are even trying to promote Indian movies, much as his fans have begun to follow motorsports. In addition to promoting a greater interest in motorsports among Indian fans, he expressed optimism that this crossover will expose consumers outside of Bollywood to Indian films. He went on, "It's a win-win situation."

To show his respect for the victims of the recent Karur stampede disaster in Tamil Nadu, Ajith decided not to celebrate in public despite his success in Barcelona. Supporters and well-wishers commended his on-track performance as well as his considerate gesture off it.

After reaching this European milestone, Ajith is now ready to make his debut in the Asian Le Mans Series, which would further cement his status as one of the few Indian actors who can effectively combine international motorsport with film.
