Travelling is no longer a leisure; it’s fast becoming a necessity to get a break from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. As Malaysians, we hold a powerful passport—ranked 12th in the world by Henley Passport Index 2019.

Why is Malaysian passport considered powerful and share the rank with the likes of Canada, Switzerland, and Ireland? The answer is fairly simple.

A Malaysian passport gets visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 179 countries. Shocking, isn’t it? Now you have a long list of countries you can choose from every time you plan your vacation.

WHY: Ancient temples and history, white-sand beaches, Khmer art, Apsara dance, incredible street food, vibrant nightlife

WHEN: Peak tourist seasons fall in the dry season from November to May. Although the weather will be great, visiting Cambodia at these times means you need to face the tourist crowds at most attractions. Despite the rains and muddy landscapes, monsoon season (June – October) can be one of the quietest times and allows a peaceful and less hectic travel.

WHERE: Temples of Angkor, Tonle Sap Lake, Night markets, Silver Pakhoda, Sihanoukville and the Southern islands

WHEN: April and November are the best months to visit Taiwan! The weather is not too intense and rain showers are also less frequent.

South Korea
