Jacky Hong, a 38-year old Malaysian, embarked on a life-changing journey all the way from Kuala Lumpur to London. It's a journey many people take - but most would fly and not dare to do, or even dream of doing, what Hong did - cycle all the way there.

In the year 2012, Hong cycled over 18,000KM, and across 16 countries, to make his dream of solo cycling a reality.

His original idea was to reach the UK via Thailand, Laos, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and France.

However, his plan changed once he learned that Bulgaria and Hungary didn't share a border, as well as the India-China border was closed. The glitches caused him to re-route and travel via Thailand, Laos, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, and France, to UK.
