In conjunction with the upcoming ASEAN Summit 2025, several major highways and roads in the Klang Valley will be closed in phases from Friday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 28 to facilitate the safe and smooth movement of delegates.
Bukit Aman JSPT Director, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, said the closures include routes to and from KLIA, Subang, KL Convention Centre (KLCC), Istana Negara, and various official accommodation points.

Additional Advisory: Each closure will last approximately 30 minutes to facilitate delegate convoys.
Heavy and commercial vehicles are prohibited from entering the city centre between 6:30 AM–7:30 AM and 4:30 PM onwards, from May 23–28. Traffic control rehearsals will take place on May 21 and 22, involving route and convoy simulations.
Important Notice for Motorists: Do not park vehicles along the affected roads.
- Illegally parked vehicles will face enforcement action, including towing.
- Plan alternative routes and allow extra travel time during this period.
