Astro, Malaysia’s leading content and entertainment provider, will broadcast the 31st edition of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup LIVE from 23 to 30 November 2025. The prestigious international hockey tournament will be held at the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Stadium in Perak, featuring six participating nations: Belgium, India, New Zealand, South Korea, Canada and host nation Malaysia, all competing for the coveted title.

The tournament will open on 23 November at 4:00 PM with India taking on South Korea. Meanwhile, one of the most anticipated fixtures is set for 26 November at 8:00 PM, when Malaysia faces long-time-rival India. The Speedy Tigers will be looking to overturn their recent loss to India at the Asia Cup and reassert their form on home ground.

Astro has been the official broadcaster of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup since the establishment of Astro Arena in 2010, supporting the growth of Malaysian hockey through comprehensive coverage and playing a significant role in empowering the development of hockey in Malaysia.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the sport, Astro has extended its partnership with the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) for another five tournaments as official broadcaster.
