In conjunction with this year’s National and Malaysia Day celebrations, Astro launches its ‘Inilah KITA, Sehati Bersama’ campaign, running from 15 August to 16 September 2025. The campaign celebrates the rich diversity and unity that continue to shape Malaysian society. Key highlights include the launch of the dedicated KITA Channel (CH 100), the theme song Bangkit Malaysia by Hael Husaini, the Hello Inilah KITA event, the KITA FM broadcast, and more.

Tai Kam Leong, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Astro, said the ‘Inilah KITA’ narrative continues this year with the theme ‘Sehati Bersama’, showcasing stories that reflect unity in diversity. Through shared experiences such as meals, communal spaces, and creative collaborations, the campaign presents cherished moments that bring Malaysians closer. “These meaningful moments remind us that despite our different backgrounds, it is these experiences that unite us as one,” he added.

Astro proudly presents KITA Channel (CH 100) – a special channel for National and Malaysia Day, showcasing the best Malaysian-made content. From 15 August to 17 September, viewers can enjoy over 50 specially curated programmes, including films, dramas, reality shows, and documentaries that highlight Malaysian stories, patriotism, and the success of local productions. Content will be available on KITA Channel (CH 100), On Demand, sooka, and NJOI.







New Merdeka-themed telemovies will also premiere on KITA Channel (CH 100), including Kita Bukan Data, Mariam Meenachi, Rombengan, Wasiat Ayah, and Daddy Naik Sheikh. These feature a star-studded cast including Nabila Huda, Faizal Hussein, Que Haidar, Yasmin Hani, MK K-Clique, Andy Teh, Lim Mei Fen, Mandy Choong, Irfan Zaini, Malarvili Shanmugam, Myra Afrina, and Eugene Song Yi. The channel will also showcase exclusive concerts such as Slam X Exist: Our Journey and Konsert Hael Husaini & The Repertoire in celebration of local talent.

As part of the campaign, Astro introduces *Unity Stories of Inilah KITA* – a series of three short documentaries highlighting real-life stories of unity within Malaysian communities:

The Unity Stories of Inilah KITA premieres on Astro Malaysia’s YouTube channel on 7 August 2025 at 9:00PM.

Malaysians are invited to the Hello Inilah KITA event on 23 and 24 August 2025, which will feature storytelling, music, and culture. The lineup includes Mira Filzah, Hun Haqeem, Ayda Jebat, Uriah, Nicole Lai, Rubini, and Sara Baskin – reflecting Malaysia’s entertainment diversity.







For radio listeners, KITA FM will broadcast live from Putrajaya on 31 August 2025, featuring Astro Audio radio hosts from ERA, Sinar, MY FM, HITZ, and RAAGA, together with RTM radio hosts from KL FM, Selangor FM, TraXX FM, Ai FM, and Minnal FM. A 13-state KITA FM Hop On Hop Off bus tour will follow from 1 September, ending in Penang on 16 September in conjunction with Malaysia Day.

The campaign’s theme song, Bangkit Malaysia by Hael Husaini, will soon be available for streaming on all major platforms.

Additionally, the KITA Run will take place on 25 October 2025 at Serenia City Central Park, Nilai. The inclusive event will feature 5KM and 10KM runs, carnival booths, and a concert with selected artists.
