Police have confirmed that six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui, who went missing at the Bon Odori event in Johor Bahru last Saturday (July 20), has been found. According to Sin Chew Daily, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed that the girl was located in Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor.

Johor Police Chief Commissioner M. Kumar confirmed in a press conference today that 6-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui has been found.

He stated that the suspect was also arrested at the same location early this morning.

"The suspect was apprehended in Batang Kali, Kuala Kubu Baru, at 4 a.m. today. The victim is safe and has been brought back to Johor for further investigation," said Commissioner Kumar.


Earlier today, three suspects, two men and a woman, were arrested in connection with the case and have been brought to the Court Complex for remand. The suspects, aged between 28 and 55, were taken into custody around 1:30 PM in the Iskandar Puteri area and arrived at the court under heavy police escort at approximately 8:45 AM on Tuesday (July 23).

Albertine was reported missing at around 8:30 PM on Saturday (July 21) during the Bon Odori Japanese festival celebration at Eco Galleria.
