What started as a normal drive quickly turned into a frightening ordeal for a Threads user, elliasaheba, when her car suddenly broke down after the Serenia Toll heading towards Kota Warisan.
Without warning, the car’s radiator was believed to have burst, causing water to leak from underneath the vehicle. Things escalated quickly when the engine temperature spiked and at that moment, she was traveling with her husband and their young child.
Panic set in. Just when they didn’t know what to do next, a stranger driving behind them noticed something was wrong.
“Bro, did you hit anything? Your car is leaking water all the way behind.”
That man was known as Thevan and in that stressful moment, he became their unexpected helper.
Without hesitation, Thevan pulled over and stepped in to assist. Seeing the family struggling under the hot weather, he asked them to sit inside his car while he stayed outside, keeping an eye on their damaged vehicle.
He didn’t stop there. Thevan took the initiative to contact a towing service and patiently waited with them for over an hour until help arrived despite being a complete stranger.
“You’re so kind for waiting with us… you even called the towing and stayed until they came,” Elliasaheba shared.
Deeply touched, the family tried to offer him some money as a token of appreciation. But Thevan politely declined, choosing to help without expecting anything in return.
During the incident, they were also assisted by a towing driver named Fizik, who was described as equally kind and helpful.
For Elliasaheba, this wasn’t just about a car breakdown, it was a reminder that kindness still exists, even in unexpected places.
“My husband was right… we never lose anything by being kind. God sends the right people at the right time,” she said.
Her story has since resonated with many online, drawing heartfelt reactions from netizens who were moved by the simple yet powerful act of compassion.
