Chef Damu Appointed as President of South Indian Chefs Association

Chef Kothandaraman Damodaran, popularly known as Chef Damu, has been elected as the President of the South Indian Chefs Association.

Currently a star on 'Cook With Comali S5,’ Chef Damu holds a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, achieved in 2010. He was the first Indian chef to earn a Ph.D. in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, awarded by the University of Madras in 2004. Additionally, he has appeared in Tamil films and has played a significant role in popularizing South Indian cuisine both domestically and internationally, leaving a lasting legacy in the culinary world.
