Have you ever eaten Chittu Urundai? In fact, it is a traditional delicacy that is forgotten.
Nevertheless, it is not that difficult to prepare when you have the right recipe. All you need to do is coat the green bean mixture with brown sugar and mix it with flour before frying for about two minutes.

Ingredients:
(A) For Green Bean Mixture
Green gram - 1cup, dry roasted until light brown and grinded into powder
Jaggery - 1 cup, boil with 1/2 cup of water and strain
Coconut - 3 tbsp, grated and dry roasted until light brown
Black sesame seeds - 2 tbsp, dry roasted until it splutters
Cardamom powder - 1 tbsp Ghee - 2 tbsp Oil for deep frying
(B) For batter
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
Water as needed
Salt a pinch
Instructions:
1) In a heated pan, add the brown sugar and all the other ingredients. Mix until the moisture is absorbed. The mixture should be a little dry. Remove and let it cool.
2) Take one tablespoon of the mixture each time and shape into small balls.
3) Heat oil for deep frying. Then, dip the balls in the prepared batter and fry until golden brown.
4) Let it cool and arrange is air tight containers. Indulge on Deepavali!
