At 80, when most would have long hung up their boots, D Vidya Prakash continues to redefine passion and perseverance. For more than five decades, he has lived and breathed motorsport, proving that age is no barrier when spirit and determination are unshakable.
 
Describing racing as his form of “meditation,” Vidya Prakash remains unfazed by time. He embraces the old-school carbureted engines with the same intensity as he experiments with newer fuel-injected models always pushing boundaries, always learning.
 
His recent performance at the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Car Championship 2025 – Round 2 (ITC 1625CC Category):
 
- Race 1 – 1st Place
- Race 2 – 1st Place
- Race 3 – 2nd Place
 





This remarkable run not only highlights his skill but also his love and passion for the sports. In an arena dominated by younger competitors, Vidya Prakash’s journey is proof that true passion knows no age. An inspiration for all the young teens out there.
