Actor Prashanth delivered an outstanding performance in the roles of twin brothers Vishu and Ramu in the film 'Jeans'. However, Prashanth was not director Shankar's first choice for the lead role.
Initially, Shankar intended to cast actor Abbas, but due to prior commitments and a packed schedule, Abbas had to decline. Shankar then approached Ajith Kumar, who also faced scheduling conflicts and could not participate in the film. It was only after these attempts that Shankar narrated the story to Prashanth, who accepted the role.
Originally, Shankar envisioned 'Jeans' as a full-length comedy, with Goundamani playing the character of Prashanth's father, later portrayed by Nasser. However, due to Goundamani's unavailability, Shankar shifted the film's focus from comedy to a love story.
Despite these changes, 'Jeans' holds a special place in the hearts of fans, potraying its enduring appeal over the years.
