Born and bred in Damansara, Radha began her acting career in year of 1987 with her first Kollywood film aptly titled ‘Penmani Aval Kanmani’ following with Muthukkal Moondru, Krishnan Vandhaan with the great Sivaji combination and still ruling the industry for 37 years.

The genesis of Radha Mani's acting journey can be traced back to her days of learning dance in Mylapore. During this time, the assistant directors and production managers in the vicinity approached her. Notably, the acclaimed Visu played a pivotal role in introducing her to the world of acting, while those in her surroundings consistently acknowledged her acting prowess.
Speaking to her, nothing was a cakewalk for the gem who always wanted to show the best and do what she loves in this industry.

In a personal conversation, Radha Mani confirmed her identity as a Bharatanatyam dancer, revealing her participation in the Chennai dance course at the School of Kamala Laxman from 1975 to 1976. She further disclosed her Arangetram at Rasika Ranjani Sabha, surprising the interviewer with the additional revelation that she had personally performed in an Arangetram. The writer expressed a desire to witness her classical dance journey in person, noting the evident joy and deep affection she holds for Bharatanatyam.

“Atlee is a very calm person, and he has never showed his temper to anyone. Right after seeing my acting in Mersal, he always preferred me to act in his film even if it’s minor role, he would just call me upon to act in his films. That’s how I acted in Bigil as well. Most of the time my scene will be perfect at the first take, but I would always have doubt on whether I did my best and etc…”
All we could say is the prowess of acting and expression queen as well is one in million that has all the talents since she born.
“Reflecting on my acting career, the role that resonates most with me is undoubtedly from 'Penmani Aval Kanmani.' My profound respect for the medical profession aligned seamlessly with the character I portrayed as a doctor in this film. The characterisation was a perfect fit, and I cherished the opportunity to embody such a role.”
