Due to the uncertainty of our lives, let's plan for an engaging travel bucket list that will let us feel the essence of traveling once again, post-pandemic. Check out these five suggestions, and feel free to add more ideas to your bucket list. As the saying goes, we only live once!
1. Conquer your fears
Make every moment count, and attempt an adventurous activity that you've been afraid to try all your life. It can be either jungle trekking, bungee jumping, scuba diving, skydiving, rock climbing, paragliding, or even water rafting. Challenge yourself and conquer your fears!
2. Witness something new
Head somewhere new to witness a celebration or a natural occurrence that you have never seen before. Explore the joy of celebrating New Year or any other festival in different parts of the world. Or else, you can even consider chasing the magnificent Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) or Aurora Australis (Southern lights). Find something that you're eager to witness at least once in your life and create an everlasting memory!
3. Discover foods that you've never tried before
Food is one of the aspects which makes traveling fun, and the next time you travel, explore exotic local delicacies and open your taste buds to a whole new range of authentic flavours. Discover new foods in a foreign country, and make this your once-in-a-lifetime experience.
4. Attempt a solo trip
The idea of going on a trip to somewhere far away from home, alone with no one to rely on, can be nerve-wracking. But when you venture into the world on your own, you will experience the trip from a whole new perspective and learn more about yourself. Some wanderers who travel solo say their journeys are eye-opening.
5. Embark on a gadget-free travel
For once, disconnect yourself from the technologies around you and embark on a gadget-free trip. Unplugging from the gadgets allows you to appreciate your surroundings and create a valuable bond with the people around you. Gazing at the stars and connecting with nature during a gadget-free camping trip might create memories that will last a lifetime.
