One of the major problems faced by millions of men is the loss of hair. It can have a great psychological effect on those suffering from it. There are many causes for hair loss - diet, mineral deficiency, medications, stress, pollution and genetics.
Below are some ways of combating hair loss for men:
1. Wash hair regularly with mild shampoo
Washing hair on a regular basis is one way of preventing hair loss by keeping hair and scalp clean. It lessens the risk of infections and dandruff that may lead to hair breakage or loss.
2. Vitamin for hair loss
Vitamin A encourages healthy production of sebum in the scalp, vitamin E increases the blood circulation in the scalp to help hair follicles remain productive and vitamin B helps hair maintain its healthy colour.
3. Enrich diet with protein
Eating meat, fish, soy or other proteins promote healthy hair and helps to curb hair fall.
4. Scalp massage with essential oils
Massaging the scalp with essential oils for a few minutes helps the hair follicles to remain active. You can use almond or sesame oil.
5. Using garlic, onion or ginger juice
Rub one of the juices on the scalp, leave it overnight and wash it out the next morning. Do it regularly for a week and you will see noticeable changes.
6. Keep yourself hydrated
The hair shaft comprises of hydrogen bonds; so drink at least eight cups of water daily to stay hydrated and for the growth of healthy hair.
