In a throwback interview, actress Trisha Krishnan shared her candid thoughts about marriage and relationships.
The actress explained that marriage has never been a priority in her life. Instead, she believes that such a commitment should only happen when one is absolutely certain about their partner.
Trisha emphasised that she would rather remain single than enter a marriage that could eventually lead to separation. According to her, the decision to get married should come with complete confidence that the relationship will last a lifetime.
“I want to feel whether this is the person I can live with for the rest of my life because I don’t believe in divorce,” she shared during the interview.
The actress also noted that she would carefully consider the decision before taking such a significant step. For her, marriage is not something to be rushed.
“I will think 100 times before marriage. I don’t want to end up hurting someone else or living an unhappy life,” Trisha said.
Vijay and Sangeetha were married on August 25, 1999, long before he rose to prominence as one of Tamil cinema’s leading actors and later entered active politics. The couple have two children, a son and a daughter. Over the years, Sangeetha has largely maintained a low profile and stayed away from public appearances.
This is not the first time speculation has surrounded their marriage. Divorce rumours have surfaced periodically, particularly due to Sangeetha’s absence from certain public and political events linked to Vijay’s growing political involvement.
