Singer and psychologist Keneeshaa Francis is once again in the spotlight following her joint appearance with actor Ravi Mohan (formerly known as Jayam Ravi) at a recent wedding. The duo, seen in matching golden outfits, sparked renewed speculation about their relationship, especially after Ravi's estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, shared an open letter accusing him of failing to support her and their children.

While the public continues to speculate about the ongoing marital drama between Ravi and Aarti, much of the attention has shifted towards Keneeshaa, who has been accused by some of being the reason behind the couple’s separation. Amid these allegations, a past interview with Keneeshaa sheds light on her side of the story.

In an interview with DT Next, Keneeshaa opened up about the online hate she has received since rumours began circulating about her alleged involvement in Ravi and Aarti's marital issues. She explained that although the negativity affected her and concerned her loved ones, she remained confident in her truth.

“What I see online are blatant accusations and outright lies. I can only remain silent for so long. I have no intention of allowing my integrity to be questioned by anyone,” she said.

Keneeshaa clarified that she first met Ravi at the launch of her song Idhai Yaar Solvaaro, where they had a brief conversation. According to her, their interactions remained minimal until Ravi, emotionally affected by his marital situation, approached her professionally, after he had already sent a divorce notice to Aarti.






"He approached me as a client, not as a partner" Keneeshaa, who is also a spiritual therapist and psychologist, stated that Ravi approached her seeking therapy and emotional guidance. She emphasized that their relationship was strictly professional and that she took time to assess whether she could genuinely help him before agreeing to work with him.

“There are certain articles that say I am the reason behind his separation from his wife, Aarti. Those are false claims. He came to me only after filing for divorce through his lawyer. He didn’t want anyone in Chennai to know and sought help confidentially,” she explained.

” Addressing the media narrative and public backlash, Keneeshaa accused Aarti Ravi of using her as a scapegoat to divert attention from the actual issues within her marriage. She expressed her frustration at being dragged into personal matters that she claims have nothing to do with her.

“Any speculation about a romantic relationship is purely media driven. If something happens between us in the future, the media will be responsible. There has been no physical involvement; we both understand our boundaries.”

Keneeshaa further claimed that she has documentation that could be used in court, highlighting Ravi’s alleged emotional struggles and mistreatment by his family. She stressed that media outlets and the public should question the involved parties directly, rather than placing the blame on her.

“Just because Aarti is afraid of what she’s done to Ravi, she cannot use me to cover up her actions. The way she has attempted to tarnish his image, including matters related to his finances, is questionable. This is not my battle to fight. If these rumour mills persist, I may consider legal action for defamation.”

In 2024, actor Ravi Mohan officially announced his separation from his wife, Aarti Ravi. However, the split quickly drew public attention as it unfolded in a less-than-amicable manner. Aarti publicly accused the actor of blindsiding her with the decision and later alleged that he had abandoned their family and sons, leaving them in financial distress.

The controversy intensified following Ravi's appearance at a wedding alongside his rumoured partner, singer and therapist Keneeshaa Francis.
