I’m Lingges Chandran from Kuala Lumpur, and I'm 28 this year.

Currently, I’m doing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) while working as a freelancer. I lost my permanent job during the COVID-19 pandemic.

No one actually inspired me to start singing. It began when my friends urged me to post a cover song on Instagram. I was hesitant at first as I had no background in singing. But my friends insisted on me doing it, as they said I have a good voice.

So I did, and to my surprise, I received good feedback from people who liked my singing. That gave me the boost to post more cover songs, but unfortunately, the one friend who was my "rock" throughout my journey since I posted my first song in 2018, is no more to see how far I have come.

I have yet to win any awards for singing, but have participated in university-level competitions. I just enjoy singing, that's all.

My advice for people who enjoy singing but are afraid to showcase their talents are, do not be shy.

Not everyone is born with talent. We work on it, and share it so that people can recognize it. It will boost you to do more.

I also workout to keep fit and have a healthy body. It helps me to be confident. The key is being consistent and doing it the right way.

You don't have to be strict with your diet, keep it healthy, that's all. You do not have to cut down on your food cravings, just eat what is sufficient to your needs and you will be fine. When you workout, you will burn the calories.

The thing about workout is you can start it anywhere - in your room, house, park, gym, anywhere you feel comfortable. It's not the place, but your mentality that matters.
