A new era for South Indian creativity has begun with the grand launch of Ravi Mohan Studios at the Chennai Trade Centre, Convention Hall, on 26 August 2025. The event marked a significant milestone in the region’s creative journey, as the studio sets out to take South Indian voices, stories, and artistry onto the global stage.

Ravi Mohan Studios was founded with a simple yet powerful vision to showcase South Indian talent at the heart of world entertainment. More than just a production house, it’s a creative hub for music, films, and digital content, a place where tradition meets technology, where cultural stories transcend borders, and where aspiring creators can find opportunities to bring their dreams to life.

The launch event was a dazzling celebration, graced by prominent stars from Indian cinema, including Shiva Rajkumar, Genelia Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh, Sivakarthikeyan, Karthi Sivakumar, and many more. Adding to the event’s prestige were notable Malaysian dignitaries and business leaders, led by YB Datuk Seri Dr. M. Saravanan, along with representatives from Malik Streams Group, AK Films Productions, Mojo Projects, Woodmarks Events, and DNA Creative Communications. Their presence highlighted the strong cultural and creative connections between India and Malaysia while further establishing Chennai as a growing hub for global entertainment.

An integral part of this journey is Keneeshaa, singer, music producer, and partner of Ravi Mohan Studios, whose artistry reflects the studio’s core values, creativity with soul. She recently produced and performed the heartfelt single “Amma”, written by Ravi Mohan as a tribute to mothers everywhere, capturing the emotional depth that lies at the heart of the studio’s mission.

During the launch, Ravi Mohan shared his vision for the studio:

“Ravi Mohan Studios is not just about films or music. It’s about creating a movement, one that unites cultures, nurtures new voices, and celebrates the richness of South Indian creativity. This is our moment to share our stories with the world and do it with pride.”

In the coming months, Ravi Mohan Studios will unveil an exciting lineup of projects that will bring together international and regional talents. By opening doors for collaborations across India, Malaysia, and beyond, the studio aims to create opportunities for emerging creators and produce stories that are deeply personal yet universally relatable.

The launch was more than just an inauguration, it was a celebration of South India’s artistic spirit: bold, innovative, and ready to make its mark on the world stage.
