Jacquelin Kaur, daughter of former national athlete Melinder Kaur who is fondly known as a former national athlete, ex-military officer, has made history by achieving a notable milestone recorded in the Malaysia Book of Records. She holds the distinction of being the youngest Malaysian to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.
This extraordinary feat is a reflection of Jacquelin's dedication, considering the Everest base camp is set at a formidable elevation of 5,364 meters above sea level.
While an official confirmation is pending, indications suggest that the Malaysia Book of Records has informally acknowledged this accomplishment, evident from their repost of the achievement on their official Instagram Stories.
From supporting and training her for this once-in-a-lifetime expedition, we would classified the young lass a champ already for not giving up besides getting tired throughout the entire hiking journey. Having said that, before starting her hiking journey, Jacquelin underwent training with her mother, who is also Five national record holder, ensuring that she is well-prepared for the challenging journey.
The expedition to the Everest base camp, a grueling journey, demanded five days of unwavering dedication and perseverance from Jacquelin and her team.
