The measures apply to three types of summonses issued by JPJ:
1. Automatic Awareness Security System (AwAS) summons (Summary 53A)
2. Investigative Interview Notice (114)
3. Stamped Summons Notice/JPJ(P)23 (115)
Also a special compound offer going on until June 30, 2025…
JPJ Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli urged Malaysians to take advantage of the special compound offer introduced in January, which allows payment of outstanding summonses at a flat rate of RM150 for the three specified offences. The offer ends on June 30, 2025.
"We have collected RM12.5 million in payments for 83,000 summonses since the offer began, but there are still two million outstanding summonses," Aedy Fadly said. "We urge road offenders to settle these charges immediately during this whitewashing period."
With that payments for the special compound can be made through:
- JPJ counters
- MyJPJ mobile application
- JPJ kiosks
- JPJ mobile counters
- JPJ public portals
Note: Payments cannot be made through MyEG or Pos Malaysia.
