In a ground-breaking move, KTCT Higher Secondary School in Thiruvanathpuram, Kerala, has introduced 'Iris,' India's inaugural AI teacher robot. Developed in collaboration with Makerlabs Edutech and initiated under the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project by NITI Aayog, Iris is designed to revolutionize traditional teaching methods.

Powered by an Intel chipset and featuring an in-built voice assistant, this humanoid AI teacher employs an Android app interface to provide personalized learning experiences and seamlessly interact with students. With the ability to comprehend various languages and tackle complex problems across subjects, Iris signifies a transformative step in leveraging AI for an enriched educational journey.

The developers envision Iris as a catalyst for educators to deliver engaging and effective lessons by adapting to individual student needs and preferences.
