This would be a great news for all of us!

A 10-year-old girl namely, R. Shivaani is eagerly anticipating her return to school in March after missing out on the previous academic year due to nationality status complications. Her father, P. Rajheswaran, expressed gratitude to the Education Ministry for its intervention in resolving his daughter's schooling issue.

He acknowledged the assistance of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Masyarakat Bersatu in arranging Shivaani's nationality documents to ensure her educational future. Shivaani, a student at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Sri Pagi, eagerly looks forward to reuniting with classmates and teachers, expressing her ambition to become a police officer.

In December, the Education Ministry, in collaboration with the Negeri Sembilan Education Department, convened a meeting to find a solution for Shivaani, enabling her to resume regular schooling. This initiative came after Shivaani reached out to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, seeking assistance to overcome obstacles hindering her education.

Negeri Sembilan Education Department director Roslan Hussin confirmed in regrads with the matter, emphasising the importance of granting Shivaani the opportunity to resume her education while addressing her family's identification document concerns with the National Registration Department. Thank you Datuk Seri Anwar and our Education Ministry - Fadhlina Sidek.
