Veteran actor and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) leader - Captain Vijayakanth passed away at age of 71 after his health deteriorated today.

Previously the actor’s health has been reported as unstable which is right after he was tested with COVID-19, according to a statement released by the hospital today.
