Astro, Malaysia’s leading content and entertainment company, is proud to broadcast ‘Thug Life - The Assembly of Legends’, a LIVE meet and greet show this 31 May 2025, 5.30 PM on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202).
Astro customers can look forward to this special show comprising Kamal Hassan, Simbu, and Trisha from the most anticipated action-drama film Thug Life, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release on 5 June 2025. The renowned line-up of cast will be spilling intriguing insights about the film that will surely excite fans who are eagerly awaiting the movie’s release.
In addition to the exclusive meet and greet show, Astro will also broadcast performances by local talents such as, Hyperflex DC and Vehaara Arts (champion and finalist of Aattam), Ruhan Ravindran and Thivya Gan Inn Choy (champion and 2nd runner-up of Big Stage Tamil Season 2), Sivasakthi Urumi Melam, and RSquare Twins. Not to be missed is also the notable appearances by local artists including Thiyagu Vajeravel and Krishenjit Karunanithi from the travelogue Oor Sutrum Boys along with Pavithraah Rajendran, Sasikumar Kandasamy, Nithiyaswari Ravi, Kishok Kumar Geri, Kabil and Nisha Angelica from Astro Vinmeen’s latest series, House Kanavan.
Thug Life, the highly anticipated action-drama film of this year features an all-star line-up of Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nasser and more. Directed by the acclaimed Mani Ratnam, the film follows the tale of Rangaraaya Sakthivel, a merciless gang leader portrayed by Kamal Haasan, and his brother Manickam. After a fierce confrontation, Sakthivel saves a young boy named Amaran and raises him like his own son. However, when an assassination attempt is made on Sakthivel, suspicion falls on Amaran, setting off a gripping story of revenge and shifting loyalties.
