Local actress Moon Nila has secured a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBO)!

She was feted with playing the "most roles in a single drama series", namely in the Iraivi Thirumagal Kaadu thriller series, broadcast on Astro Vinmeen last March. The actress played nine different roles in the series.

Moon Nila was recognized in a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Finas (National Film Development Corporation Malaysia) headquarters in Ulu Klang, Selangor.

Taking to Facebook, Moon Nila thanked MBO for the recognition, the series' director SD Puvanendran, the production company Reacch Productions, as well as other team members who played a crucial role in her honor.

"I feel overwhelmed, emotion and am lost for words. I already felt like it's a win for me when I found out that I was even being considered for this honorary recognition.

"A very big thanks to the Malaysian Book of Records for recognising my work with such a special honour; it really solidifies our belief and boosts my morale to continue doing the good work," she wrote.

In addition, Moon Nila also thanked her family who had supported her throughout her career, and the audience who loved and appreciated her work on screen,
