Traveling soon and worried about parking costs at KLIA? We’ve found some wallet-friendly alternatives that will save you money for your trip!
It’s called LTCP – KLIA Long-Term Car Park, and the best part? The longer you park, the cheaper it gets.
1. Park longer, not shorter
This sounds counter-intuitive, but LTCP rewards long stays.
If your trip is 4 days or more, LTCP is almost always cheaper than short-term or valet parking.
2. Don’t exit and re-enter
Once you exit, the system resets and you’ll lose the long-stay promo rate.
If someone needs your car mid-trip, don’t do it. Let it sit.
3. Use one card only
Use the same Touch ‘n Go or debit card for entry and exit.
Switching cards = system can’t calculate promo = full rate charged
PARKING RATES (Auto-applied)
- 1st day: RM27
- 2nd & 3rd day: RM17 per day
- 4th day onwards: RM9 per day

4. Avoid peak-hour entry if you’re rushing
LTCP is big. Entering during peak holiday hours means:
- Longer time to find parking
- Shuttle buses may be packed
Arrive earlier so you’re not stressed before your flight.
5. Take photos of your parking bay
Row, level, pillar number, snap everything.
After a long trip, all covered parking looks the same.
6. Choose covered bays further in
People rush to park near the shuttle stop, but walking a bit further:
- Gives you easier exit later
- Less door dings
- Faster parking during peak times
7. Ladies’ parking = closer + safer
If you qualify, use it. Better lighting, closer to shuttle zones, and less walking at odd hours.
8. Shuttle hack
If the bus is full, wait 5–10 mins.
They’re frequent, and the next one is usually emptier and faster.
9. Don’t confuse LTCP with short-term car parks
Short-term KLIA parking looks convenient but bleeds money daily.
Always double-check Waze/Maps says “KLIA Long Term Car Park (LTCP)”.
10. Best for 4+ days, not 1 night
For overnight or 1–2 days only, sometimes Grab or airport limo makes more sense. LTCP shines for longer trips.
