National squash player, Sivasangari Subramaniam claimed the honour of being Ivy League Player of the Year for the second consecutive season in a row and also 4x All-Ivy Team to boot!

Look at her spirit tho!

The 24-year-old Kedahan player has also received the accolade last year after she chalked up an unbeaten 12-0 record in the regular College Squash Association season. She also made it into the All-Ivy League team alongside fellow Malaysian Lai Wen Li.

In 2018, Sivasangari made history by becoming the youngest national champion at 19. From emerging to the top 30 in the World Rankings for the first time in the summer of 2021, the young lass has definitely beam us with pride.

Having said that, Sivasangari became the third Malaysian ever to win the Australian Open title since the tournament inception in 1979, a feat which has been done by former world number one (national squash queen) Datuk Nicol David and Low Wee Wern.

Congratulations Sivasangari!
