Age is just a number, but courage knows no bounds. This incredible woman in her 40s showed us all what true bravery looks like as she fearlessly entered her burning home to save her furry best friend

According to Harian Metro, the incident occurred at around 6PM at Hong Seng Farm, Mount Erskine. The woman recounted that she returned home from work to find her house engulfed in flames. Upon learning from her brother that her dog was still trapped inside, she made the brave decision to enter the burning house.

"I thought the dog was at the front of the house before I chose to enter. Luckily, it was still alive, and we were not injured," she explained.

Her home was one of seven houses destroyed in the fire. Another resident, Steven Morgan, 50, shared his harrowing experience during the blaze.

"I heard a loud explosion before my 16-year-old son noticed smoke. In the confusion, I only thought about saving my wife and son. We didn’t have time to take any belongings, including important documents," he said.

Morgan’s house was completely destroyed in the fire. “This time, everything is gone. I can’t estimate the damages yet, but thankfully, all my family members and neighbors are safe,” he added.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but it is believed to have started in a nearby house used to store and repair electrical equipment.

This is not the first time Morgan has faced such devastation. Four years ago, a similar incident partially burned down his home. “Now, nothing is left. I’m at a loss as to where to stay,” he said. Local authorities are reportedly arranging temporary accommodation for the victims.

The bravery showed by the woman and the resilience of the affected residents highlight the importance of community support during such challenging times.
