In a recent interview, actress Meena shared surprising revelations about her career, reflecting on missed opportunities and pivotal moments.

Meena, who debuted as a child artist in the Tamil film "Nenjangal" in 1982, has since appeared in films across various regional industries. During the interview, she discussed notable roles she turned down and the impact those decisions had on her career.

One significant revelation was about the Rajinikanth film "Padayappa." Meena revealed that she was initially offered the negative role, which later went to Ramya Krishnan. She declined the offer on her mother's advice, who believed that playing a negative role could hinder her efforts to establish herself as a leading actress. Meena later expressed regret for rejecting the role, acknowledging it as a missed opportunity.

Another notable instance was her initial casting as Kamal Haasan’s wife in "Thevar Magan." After three to four days of shooting, the crew realized that she could not convincingly portray the character of an innocent village woman, leading to her replacement.

Meena also lamented several missed opportunities due to scheduling conflicts, including the film "Harikrishnans," which she regrets not being able to do as a single-heroine film with Mammootty and Mohanlal. Additionally, she expressed regret over never having played a college student or a dance-oriented role, despite her interest in both.

Reflecting on her career, Meena conveyed her enduring regret over these unfulfilled aspirations, acknowledging that certain roles she missed will remain a lifelong regret.
