The film beautifully captures the journey of Khairul Amin, a passionate photographer, as he honors his late mother's teachings by using his photography to showcase Malaysia's unity and diversity. With the film’s release, this Merdeka and Malaysia Day - OPPO invites Malaysians to reflect and revel similarly in the spirit of unity and togetherness, by sharing their best Portraits of Malaysia in OPPO’s ‘66 Potret Malaysia’ contest.

This could be a great opportunity for Malaysians to showcase their portrait photography skills and celebrate their country's heritage from August 21 to September 17.

Participants can join by sharing portrait photos featuring iconic elements of Malaysia, following the guidelines and hashtags provided by OPPO for the contest.

The contest comprises two themes, the first being ‘Icons of Malaysia’- running from Aug 21 to Sept 3, which requires participants to:

• Like and share the campaign post on OPPO’s Facebook and X pages
• Share their portrait photo with Malaysia’s iconic items (e.g. buildings, food, travel, etc.)
• Comment on the photo with the following hashtags #OPPO66PotretMalaysia #66MerdekawithOPPO #TeamPortraitExpert

Exciting prizes await you in our 'Icons of Malaysia' competition!

Following with the second theme, unleash your artistic side and celebrate the 'Colours of Malaysia' and showcase your patriotic spirit by showcasing our flag colours on social media from Sept 4 to Sept 17.

Participants must adhere to the following steps for successful completion of the task:

• Share their portraits of Malaysia in colours (key colours: yellow, red, white, and blue)
