We just couldn’t be prouder of our young teens who keep making us proud. In a remarkable achievement, two outstanding Malaysian students, Nahvin Muthusamy and Kaavilash Nair, have brought acclaim to our Indian community by receiving prestigious academic awards.

Nahvin Muthusamy, a 23-year-old Bachelor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) graduate, was honoured with the UTeM Royal Education Award for his exceptional academic performance, boasting a CGPA of 3.89.

During an interview, Nahvin expressed his joy at seeing the fruition of his hard work at UTeM. He emphasised the importance of passion and self-belief in achieving success, sharing the principles that have guided him through his academic journey. As the eldest of two siblings in a family facing challenges, Nahvin is surely motivated by a desire to secure a better future and repay his mother's dedicated efforts in supporting the family.

You're such an inspring gem!

On the other hand, we have Kaavilash Nair, a graduate with a Bachelor’s in Communication who also received the UUM Royal Education Award, marking a significant milestone in his life. Despite facing challenges, including a setback in Additional Mathematics during SPM, the champ turned his frustrations into motivation to excel academically. He highlighted the support of his family, particularly expressing gratitude for his parents' understanding and encouragement.

Having said that, Kaavi who is currently employed - and contemplating postgraduate studies, expresses his gratitude for the blessings in his life and the pride he brings to his family.

It is often said that education is the key to success. However, it is not just formal education that helps one succeed in life. Learning never stops, whether it is through formal education or otherwise. As former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once said, "Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great."

Both Nahvin and Kaavilash stand as inspiring beacons of academic excellence, shaping the landscape of education in our nation. Congratulations and we wish you the best among the rest to happen in whatevery you guys are about to pursue.
