Yes, that’s how we could describe the talented yet wonderful student- Punithamalar Rajashekar…

The young lass is taking the world by storm with her ability to accurately identify alphabets and shapes with a blindfold. With her plethora of achievements which were made recently, Punithamalar is all set to break yet another prestigious Guinness Book of Records for 'The first and youngest genius kid with fasted time to arrange a chess set while blindfolding in Malaysia'!

That sounds ah-mazing!

Having said that, the attempt to break the record was made on 19th May 2023, from 11 AM to 12 PM, and currently, the entire team awaits the official confirmation from the Guinness Book of Records which will be announced in August. Previously, Punithamalar earned the limelight while showcasing her talent in a competition that took place at Aeon Mall Kinta City, Ipoh, Perak.

With the attendance of prominent figures from Pengarah Pendidikan Daerah, principals, and headmasters / headmistresses, the event went smoothly at SJK (T) Menglembu.

The 10-year-old prodigy who is currently studying at SJK (T) Menglembu, is not only great at academics, but she is also a yogini ( a girl who is dedicated to the practice of Yoga).

Emerged among the finalists of Kids Got Talent Malaysia is all set to grace her way to yet another prestigious show, ‘America’s Got Talent’. The talented lass received a golden buzzer in the state audition and was selected for the grand final.



Astro Ulagam had a chance to interview Mr Rajashekar (Punitha's father) to gain more insights about his daughter's mind-blowing achievements.

According to Rajashekar, his daughter is an early riser.

“She has set a great example for us all by dedicating time in the morning for yoga and meditation.”

Not to forget the main pillar of her success - Master Alagan Govindan from Achievers Mind Academy. Indeed a gem!

Asking to whom he extends his gratitude...

“The headmistress of SJK Tamil Menglembu, Mrs. Kogilavani, and all the teachers who have showered support to maximize her potential. The course that she attended was also introduced by the school HM.”
