In 2022, their lives took a devastating turn when Bibek was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. After an 11-month hiatus, Srijana shared a deeply emotional video on June 5, 2023. The clip featured the couple sitting on a bench, accompanied by a heart-wrenching caption that left followers devastated. From that point on, Srijana began sharing Bibek's battle against cancer, chronicling their moments of hope, love, and struggle.

Throughout his treatment, Srijana stood by Bibek’s side with extraordinary devotion. Whether celebrating his birthday, staying with him on hospital beds, assisting with daily activities, or shaving her head in solidarity, she dedicated herself entirely to his care. Her commitment won the hearts of her 752,000 Instagram followers, many of whom prayed fervently for Bibek's recovery.

Sadly, despite their immense courage and the relentless efforts of doctors, Bibek lost his battle to brain cancer on December 19, 2024, at the age of 32. The news shattered thousands of followers who had been invested in their story and rooting for Bibek’s recovery.
