Actor Mathi Alagan, known to many Singaporeans from his roles in Mediacorp dramas like "Tanglin" and "Code Of Law," made a notable appearance in Dev Patel's directorial debut "Monkey Man." In the India-set action-thriller, Mathi portrays a guns dealer, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

Mathi, who has also appeared in Tamil dramas and the Malaysian film "Villavan: The Vigilante" (2018), took to Instagram on Sunday (Apr 7) to express his gratitude for the opportunity to work with Dev Patel, whom he described as a true legend in the industry. He highlighted that working alongside Patel was an honor and a learning experience.

Despite having a small role in "Monkey Man," Mathi's involvement in the production has garnered pride and congratulations from his colleagues and followers on Instagram.
