Pallavi’s characters come alive on screen, they are relatable, tangible, and familiar. Rather than undergoing a transformation, she expands the frame of her own persona, delivering performances that resonate with honesty and depth. “I don’t want people to see me for glamour. I want them to appreciate my talent,” she expressed. She firmly added, “I don’t want to satisfy a group of viewers who only look for that. I refuse to let those eyes define my career.”

When questioned whether her choice to reject glamorous roles had impacted her career, Pallavi shared that she is content with the characters she currently portrays and would willingly turn down roles that compromise her values. She believes that meaningful and substantial roles are what will sustain her career in the long run.
Recalling her debut in the 2015 Malayalam film Premam, Pallavi disclosed a significant turning point regarding her on-screen choices. “Years ago, I participated in a dance performance in Georgia and wore the required attire. When Premam was released, people dug up those old videos and photos. The way people talked about it made me uncomfortable. I don’t want to cater to the audience that views me as an object,” she stated.
Her recent performance in Amaran showcases this dedication to authenticity. Rather than imitating a character, Pallavi fully inhabits the role of Indhu Rebecca Varghese, embodying the essence of the character with exceptional realism.
