The British Indian couple namely Sanjeev Kumar Soosaipillai (Chairman & Chief Executive Officer) and Arani Kumar Soosaipillai (Chief Human Resources & Corporate Officer) of PRAX group, went a step further by thrusting into the limelight as they quietly grew a $10 Billion crude oil empire. Established in 1999, Prax's core business is refining, logistics, and sales; assets and investments complement and enhance these activities. To date, they have approximately 1250 employees in 11 offices across the world.

After acquiring an oil storage site in London, the company, which had initially specialized in blending diesel, decided to expand into gas oil, kerosene, and fuel for jet engines before operating service stations for Shell and Total.

The direction of their business changed when they bought a stake in the North Killingholme-based Lindsey Oil Refinery. Being one of the only six facilities in the UK that processes up to 113,000 barrels of crude oil daily to use in services all over the world.

With more than 20 years of professional experience in the energy industry, Sanjeev, the CEO of the well-known group, is a highly esteemed entrepreneur. He boasts in-depth knowledge of the global oil and commodities markets, with a solid track record of executing strategic growth strategies for all parts of the company.
