Aayushi Yeogeswaran, a seven-year-old girl has made history by becoming the youngest published author in Malaysia. This little bookworm from SJK (T) Taman Sentosa, has been an avid reader since the age of two and has read approximately 4,000 books, including novels.
Driven by her passion for reading, Aayushi decided to publish her own work to inspire other children to develop a love for books. Her debut book, Unicorn and Little Amanda, was officially launched during an event at Perpustakaan Raja Tun Uda in Shah Alam.
Aayushi’s literary journey is just beginning, as she has already written four more books, all of which are set to be published soon. Beyond her personal accomplishments, Aayushi is deeply committed to making her books accessible to all children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. Her mission is to encourage other young readers to embrace the joy of reading and to share their own stories with the world.
In recognition of her remarkable talent, Aayushi was honored with the Top-5 National Stars Achiever Award 2024 in the Youngest Book Author category by Kids Got Talent Malaysia. This award celebrates her significant contributions to children's literature and her dedication to fostering a love for reading in others.
