Madhavan, fondly called as Maddy in the movie industry, is a famous actor who has worked in many memorable movies.

After playing several language films, Madhavan debuted in Kollywood via Mani Ratnam's hit movie 'Alaipayuthey', where he paired-up with Ajith's then-fiancee and now-wife Shalini.

In a recent interview, Madhavan revealed that actress Shalini used to threaten him in the movie sets.

It was Madhavan's first Tamil language film and Shalini who was about to get married to Kollywood biggie Ajith Kumar then, used to jokingly warn Madhavan not to act too close in the romantic scenes.

"Even I told her that I'm about to get married to Sarika, and asked her to maintain some distance from me. But it was nothing like the way she said it," revealed the actor.
