In continuation of the Federal Government's initiative to provide RM100 eWallet credit to eligible Malaysians, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officially introduced the program, now named eMADANI. The credit is available to Malaysians aged 21 and above earning RM100,000 and below annually.

Claim Details:

- Eligible Malaysians can claim the RM100 eWallet credit from 4 December 2023, 8 am, until 20 February 2024, 11.59 pm.

- Participating eWallet platforms: MAE, Setel, ShopeePay, and Touch 'n Go (TNG) eWallet.

Furthermore, the Finance Ministry has taken to its official Facebook page to reveal the 4 participating eWallet platforms for the eMADANI programme and how to claim the RM100 credit. Accordingly, the participating eWallet platforms are MAE, Setel, ShopeePay and Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet.






Program Guidelines:

1. The RM100 eWallet credit is exclusively for physical transactions at 1.8 million vendors/businesses through the selected eWallet platform.

2. Restrictions include peer-to-peer transfers, cash redemption, utility bill payments, government-related fees, telco bills, online game purchases, parking/toll payments, and investment-related activities.

You can’t utilise the eWallet credit for the following:

• Peer-to-peer transfer
• Cash redemption
• Payment of utility bills via any eWallet applications
• Government-related fees integrated with eWallet applications
• Telco postpaid and prepaid bills integrated with eWallet applications
• Purchase of online games integrated with eWallet applications
• Parking or toll payments
• Investment-related activities integrated with eWallet applications
• E-commerce or other online transactions


With that being said, the eWallet credit must be utilized by 29 February 2024, 11.59 pm, or the balance will be forfeited.

How to Claim your RM100 eMADANI credit:

1. Download your preferred eWallet platform among the 4 options.
2. Follow the platform's application instructions.
3. Verify your identity through Know-Your-Customer on the application.
4. Enter the required details and submit.
5. You’ll receive notification of claim status.


The participating eWallet platforms have updated their applications with details on redeeming the RM100 eMADANI credit.
