Actor-filmmaker Suryah, who has recently garnered acclaim for his string of successful projects, shared insights about his journey in the film industry at a press meet for his upcoming movie, held in Chennai. During his speech, he discussed his motivations for becoming one of the producers of the forthcoming film.

In an exclusive interview with Vikatan, Suryah revealed details about a lesser-known project that cinephiles might find intriguing. He spoke about a shelved film he had planned with actor Silambarasan (Simbu) over fifteen years ago. The project, titled "AC," was to feature Asin as the female lead.

Reflecting on the experience, Suryah stated, "It was a missed opportunity. We completed the photoshoot and everything was set, but unfortunately, we had to cancel the movie. It was supposed to be a rollicking entertainer."

Suryah further mentioned that he discussed the possibility of reviving the project with Simbu while they were working together on 'Maanaadu.' Whether this revival will come to fruition remains to be seen.
