Nestled amidst the serene hills of Madukkarai, near Coimbatore, stands the revered Sri Dharmalingeshwarar Hill Temple, a spiritual sanctuary dedicated to Lord Dharmalingeswaraswamy, a Swayambumurthi (self-manifested form of Shivan). This divine manifestation is believed to have emerged on its own, radiating boundless energy and blessings to all devotees.

Located approximately 13 km south of Coimbatore city, the temple is situated in the tranquil village of Marappalam, Madukkarai, within the Coimbatore district. Devotees undertake a sacred journey of nearly 1000 steps to reach the hilltop shrine.

Talking about the temple history, the Pandavas' visit to this sacred place during their exile, where they reverently worshipped the Swayambhu lingam on the hill.
