Two intrepid best friends, Hirza and Fasya, have defied common constraints such as financial limitations and time constraints, embarking on a remarkable journey across 25 European countries in a mere 33 days.

Hirza took to Facebook to share the exhaustive list of European nations they explored, including notable destinations such as France, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and more. Hirza has thoughtfully provided a Google document detailing the budgeting aspects of their travels, offering valuable insights for those contemplating similar adventures within the listed countries. Their journey stands as a testament to the power of determination and friendship in conquering the globe's diverse landscapes.

During their travel, both of them spent around RM15,000 respectively. How did the pair manage to fund their trip? Well, a question that popped up out of curiosity.

According to Hirza, they began saving for the journey during the early days of the pandemic amidst Movement Control Orders (MCO). Their trip, which commenced on October 7 and concluded on November 8, 2022, was not a spontaneous endeavor, but rather the result of meticulous planning over five months.

The complexity of their itinerary, which included various modes of transportation such as airplanes, trains, and buses, required thorough consideration. Notably, countries like France, Italy, and Switzerland warranted longer stays due to their popularity and the numerous attractions to explore. Conversely, Estonia and Latvia, with their proximity of only a three-hour travel time between them, warranted shorter visits.

The expenditure for their trip amounted to approximately RM15,000 each, underscoring their commitment to budgeting and financial preparation. Their story serves as an example of how prudent planning and disciplined saving can make extensive travel experiences a reality, even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to World of Buzz, Hirza shared that their decision to embark on this journey was spurred by their fascination with the intriguing aspects of European countries, which they were eager to experience firsthand. However, the expedition encountered an unexpected setback when Fasya's phone went missing during their stay in Milan, Italy. Fortunately, they were able to track the phone's location, finding it just four stations away.

Hirza elaborated that they chose not to pursue the thief, prioritizing their safety in an unfamiliar foreign environment. Subsequently, both travelers swiftly proceeded to Switzerland and acquired a replacement phone as a precautionary measure.

In addition to the lost phone, another incident temporarily disrupted their journey. On the day they were scheduled to depart for Santorini, their prearranged cab failed to pick them up at the agreed 4:30 a.m. time, causing them to miss their 6:30 a.m. flight. Fortunately, the hotel's management displayed kindness by assisting them in obtaining new flight tickets, allowing them to eventually reach Santorini.
