Most of us would struggle to complete a jigsaw puzzle with friends or family, let alone do it ourselves.

The exercise requires keen eyes, steady hands and most importantly, an incredible amount of patience.

But 30-year-old Shamini Veeramani has not only completed an 18,000 piece puzzle by herself, but she has created a national record for doing so.

The teacher at Taylor's International School Puchong performed the impressive feat within nine months of purchasing the four-part puzzle.

For her achievement, Shamini sealed her name in the Malaysia Book of Records for the "Most Number of Pieces In a Jigsaw Puzzle Completed By An Individual."

Even more impressive is the fact that Shamini performed this feat while juggling her roles as an educator, a wife, and a mother to a young child.

Congratulations on the well-deserved recognition Shamini!
