TikTok Shop Malaysia has announced the introduction of a Platform Support Fee of RM0.50 per order, excluding 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST), bringing the total charge to RM0.54 per order. The new fee will take effect from 15 February 2026, at 12.00am, and will apply to all sellers on the platform.
The fee will be imposed on every successfully delivered order, regardless of the order value or the number of items purchased. TikTok Shop clarified that once an order is marked as delivered, the Platform Support Fee will not be refunded, even if the order is later returned or cancelled. The charge will be automatically deducted from the seller’s order settlement.
To support new sellers and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), TikTok Shop said it will offer fee waivers to eligible marketplace sellers. New sellers who listed their first product within the past 120 days may qualify for a waiver in the following month, while small and medium sellers may also be eligible based on completed order volume and total gross merchandise value.
In addition, TikTok Shop noted that orders under selected essential product categories will be exempt from the Platform Support Fee. These include basic food items as well as textbooks listed under the Ministry of Education catalogue.
