We are just a few days away from Santhosh Narayanan - ‘Sounds of the South’ concert, but fans are still raving about #SaNa’s powerful performance!
Spearheaded by Reacch Productions, they have pulled off the concert without a hitch. Aside from organizing and having a stage set up in 360 degrees for the first time in Malaysia, this concert definitely has a special place in our hearts. It was a successful event, and we couldn't have asked for more.
As the arena was packed to the brim with a sea of music enthusiasts who were ready to scream their lungs out during the concert. In the sea of gold line-up songs, we have picked out TEN exemplary moments that deserve a special mention in this article.
1. Santosh Narayanan’s entry was legit ‘Nerupuda’

As he says, from the moment Santosh appeared, the crowd whipped into a frenzy as he swayed the night away with his utmost famous song bearing the title ‘Nerupuda’ from Kabali.
The moment was surreal as his songs met with multi-coloured psychedelic lights flashing across the stage and carefully-timed fireworks going off the 360-degree stage.
2. Malaysian homegrown boys Yogi B, Roshan Jamrock & Mista G brought the house down
We swear these boys blew our minds!
The moment when Santosh welcomed YOGI-B is still fresh in our minds. It was a moment of pure joy and excitement, and we're so grateful to witness it with our own eyes. Hats off to SaNa, as we never thought our homegrown boys will be welcomed with such respect!
From singing massive hit songs such as Katravai Patravai and Pollathavan, they have left the concertgoers breathless by end of the night from dancing and singing along.
3. Capturing the magical moment of the concertgoers sang along for Thenmozhi
As the music of Thenmozhi came wafting through the auditorium, the crowd began to sing along with him. SaNa, who constantly moved around the stage to rile up the crowd was left in shock and awe as he never thought that everyone knew the lyrics of the song and felt so overwhelmed.
4. Dhee - The unique and one-of-a-kind vocalist
The energy levels never wavered throughout the concert, with her slow rendition of Ei Sandakara followed by rock versions of explorative beats of "Enjoy Enjaami".
Her singing prowess, humour, and engagement with the audience made it an epic night!
5. The sensational heartthrob Dhruv sang his brand-new song
From his appearance and voice, he serenaded us with his mellifluous voice. To date, we can't get enough of his new-released song!
He got us all hooked on his music, and we can't wait to see him perform again in Malaysia!
6. The eternal crush of many - Siddharth
It won't be wrong to state that Siddharth is the eternal crush of many. And, it's not just about looks, people!
This actor can also sing. Who would have known?
Amid deafening screams from the concertgoers, the actor-singer belted out the 'Enakkoru Girlfriend' song from his first film aptly titled - Boys. The energy and excitement in the room were palpable as the fans sang along with him. It was clear that the audience enjoyed every minute of his performance, and the fans were seen grooving along with his beats.
7. Rowdy Baby made us dance like no one was watching!
A memorable yet immersive experience for the audience. It was a sight to behold!
With her iconic confidence and powerhouse performance, the music transitioned into a kuthu beat seamlessly as she began to sing Rowdy Baby along with Gana. To be honest, her final note took the concert up a notch. She brought the house down with her unforgettable voice and stage presence, leaving the crowd wanting more.
8. A power-packed performance from the band
Let's give a special shout-out to the musicians/band members who need a special mention for providing the mind-blowing backdrop for SaNa to shine throughout the 3-hour concert. The energy and passion of the performers were truly infectious!
The bass drums are the heartbeat of the concert, setting the pace and energy for the entire performance. A special mention to the guitarists who produce an eerie ambient sound that creates a memorable moment for the audience.
9. Goosebumps all over as Meenakshi sang Kanda Vara Sollunge
Feel-it-vibrate-deep-within-your-bones…
As the statement denotes, everyone had goosebumps as Meenakshi Ilayaraja took over the stage. From the musicians to the dance troupe who performed on the stage - it gave a stunning performance that left the audience mesmerised.
10. The undisputed queen of Indian classical music, Priyanka
As Priyanka sang the part ‘Mayangi ponen pinnaadiyae’...
We just swayed away as she sang that specific part. From getting mesmerised by her voice in the Super Singer Singing Competition, and since then, there was no looking back. To date, she has enthralled audiences all over the world with her soulful voice and impeccable technique.
